Paul Gardner recently served as Executive Director of Recycling Reinvented, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that advocated for extended producer responsibility (EPR) for packaging and printed paper. From 2007 to 2010, Paul served two terms as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from a district in the St. Paul suburbs, and was involved in the passage or introduction of EPR & product stewardship bills for paint, e-waste, and pharamceuticals. From 197 to 2006, he was the Executive Director of the Recycling Association of Minnesota. Currently he is working with a client on pay-as-you-threm systems and bringing stakeholders together in the glass recycling industry to increase the use of post-consumer cullet.
